Crazy story. I was asked last minute to capture 12 ( yes you read it correctly- 12! ) hostesses and their amazing engagement party they were throwing for a dear friend. I had heard of this amazing venue where they were hosting it out in Weatherford, Texas and was really looking forward to the evening.
I arrived and immediately fell in love. This place was unique, off the grid ( but not too much ), full of trees and yet boasted lots of green open spaces. There were barns with horses and stucco arches mixed with yuccas and paved pathways down to overlooks into the distant countryside. I was excited to meet the owner as she was also a hostess and an organizer of this rhinestone celebration. I put out my hand and she turned around and wouldn't you know it- I had shot HER WEDDING 15 YEARS AGO!?! We both squealed and hugged and of course she looked exactly the same! What a fun world, what a dear group of rhinestone studded friends, and what a night celebrating!!
